Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid docpk subscriptions. It supplements our Terms of Service.

1. The free tier

Your first 30 prescriptions on docpk are free. No payment is taken during this period. There is nothing to refund.

2. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel the Practice subscription at any time from your account settings inside app.docpk.com. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • You will not be billed again.
  • Your prescription and patient records are preserved on the free tier (subject to the 30-prescription limit for new prescriptions).

You can resubscribe at any time.

3. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has begun, except in the following cases:

  • First-time billing within 7 days. If you have just upgraded from the free tier and write to [email protected] within 7 days of your first paid charge, we will issue a full refund of that first month.
  • Duplicate or accidental charges. If you are charged twice for the same period due to a billing error, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full.
  • Extended outage caused by docpk. If the Service is unavailable for more than 24 continuous hours within a billing period due to a fault on our side, we will, on request, credit your account a pro-rated amount for the affected period.

4. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with:

  • The email address on your docpk account.
  • The transaction date and amount.
  • A short note explaining the request.

We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days and may take additional time to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. Plan changes

If we change the price of a plan, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice. New pricing applies only to renewal periods after the notice; you will not be charged the new amount during the period you have already paid for.
