Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how docpk (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on docpk.com and our application at app.docpk.com. Read this together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. We refer to all of these as “cookies” in this policy.
2. The cookies we currently use on docpk.com
This is the complete list of cookies set on the marketing site at docpk.com. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or behavioural-tracking cookies on this site.
2.1 Strictly necessary (security & infrastructure)
These are set by Cloudflare, the security layer that sits in front of docpk.com. They are essential for serving the site and protecting it from automated abuse. They cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
_cfuvid |
Cloudflare rate-limiting / abuse prevention | Session |
cf_clearance |
Cloudflare bot-challenge clearance token | ~1 year |
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare Bot Management | 30 minutes |
2.2 Consent preferences
When you respond to our consent notice, we store your choice locally so we do not ask again on every visit.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
CookieScriptConsent |
Records your consent choices (set by the CookieScript consent banner) | 1 year |
2.3 Analytics / advertising
None at this time. docpk.com does not currently load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Mouseflow, or any other behavioural-tracking service. If we add analytics in future, this page will be updated and the consent banner will give you an explicit opt-in choice.
3. Third-party services and data transfers
Our web fonts (Manrope, Fraunces, Geist Mono) are self-hosted on docpk.com — they are not loaded from Google’s servers, so your IP address is not transmitted to Google when you view this site. The only third-party service that processes your request is Cloudflare (our CDN and security layer), which receives your IP address as the recipient of your HTTPS connection.
The application at app.docpk.com has its own separate Cookie Policy because it processes signed-in doctor sessions and patient data.
4. Your choices
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies entirely. Disabling cookies may degrade your experience — for example, you may be signed out repeatedly.
5. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will reflect any changes.
